DISCUSSION OF THE SCHEMATIC
The above schematic shows the cable assembly of the cabinet we have been using for the trial run.
This schematic isn't necessarily identical to the cable assembly you will find on board.
The unit has been built on the basis of a model unit, but we were not provided with the relay cabinet, nor it's schematic, nor its layout.
#1.connection 1 - 6.
There are two hydraulic pressure switches provided, for switching within a pressure range between 50 and 100 kg/cm².
This has been realised through using the normally closed contacts of the switches as "on" and "off".
Both stay closed till the lower pressure area is reached.
The high pressure area is reached over the bypass over the relay contacts.
If high pressure is reached, both are open, and the relay opens.
If the lower pressure is reached both are closed and the process starts over.
#2.connection 7 - 10.
These connections correspond with the respective solenoids on the directional valve. (110V 60c/s)
#3.connection 11 - 12.
These are the connections for the oil level switch in the oil tank.
A floater body switches magnetically a Rhodium Reed-contact.
The contact is closed if the oil level is low.
The cable layout of relay 1 is a normal on/of schematic for the main and safety voltage.
Take care that the motor is fused thermically.
Take care to use meltfuses of at least 4 Amps between each phase.
Ensure visualisation of the voltage through mounting a control lamp of 110V.
Take care the masses are properly connected thoughout the unit and its relays.
